Hanuman is Crying!!!!!

What has the world come to? Are News Organizations in India so starved of important news that they have to focus on irrational and superstitious stories like Hanuman is crying, or the Ganesh Idols have drunk the Milk? When this is the era of Scientific and rational thought, why are Irrational items bought out in the open so that the thinking of this country is set back two paces?

This is the reason that I emphasize that Religion and any matter that pertains to Religion should be confined to the four corners of a persons home. What could have been important news that affects the country is now taken up by all this superstitious items. By working upon the Faith of the people, the channels, notably Hindi news channels, have found a new avenue to garner more viewers, and thus more advertising and the beginning of Trivialization of news.

One cannot understand why our country faces such bouts of Irrationalism. Even more bizarre, one cannot digest the fact that technologically superior News channels consider this as a news event. By the simple process of Science, this event shall be a farce, and pretty soon, it will be pulled off the air. But, then, why was Precious Air Time wasted for something so Bizarre? I guess, in a country like India, when we move ahead with the times, some aspects might never change. Unfortunately, the factor of Religious beliefs will not change and hence incidents like Hanuman Cries will dominate the Tabloid Broadcast waves. Now though, forget Hanuman Crying, the Common Man is Crying about the fact that when will the Hindi News channels Grow up!
