The Belief in God and the Negativity of Religion

This Post is going to have a bearing today as well as Tommorow. The 6th of December post will have this as a backdroper. First things first, the views that i am going to express on Religion are my own, and is not intended to hurt anybody's religious sentiments. This post should not be thought of as an outcrop of Communism as well, for this ideology portrays religion as an opium for the people. This post should be considered as an individual interpretaion of certain things by which i am going to advocate the following things.

By implying the negativity of religion, i am taking into account the happenings of the world today. The very factor of Religion is causing deep polarizations within the realms of Humanity. This is more evident in the functioning of Iraq today, the Communal tensions that plague Indian Society. The factor of Organized religion is more potent in today's world, and by the religious polarizations that is evident in the world today, it would be best if Organized religion is outlawed along the lines of Organized crime.

It is because of Organized religion that problems are galore. The nature and interpretation of religion is full of complexity. By expressing it in large numbers, there are bound to be problems. The Hindu-Muslim tension and he Shia-Sunni conflict are examples of these problems at the Micro and Macro level. The very factor of religion is also causing deep divisions in humanity as well. Certain sections of people who have a different belief in somethings are marginalized and isolated. The case of certain sections of the Muslim population in some parts of India are proof of that statement.

As far as the question of God is concerned, the common saying goes, "God Created Man, Man Created Various Gods." Of course, i do not believe that it was God who created man, but rather by the process of evolution that Man EVOLVED. It is evident that people look up to God when they have nothing else to lean on. People need God so that they can have something to fall back on, whenever something goes wrong. The concept of God, as a whole, reflects the typical human mindset, hypocritical and selfishness.

In the end, i am not calling for the destruction of religion as a whole, but i am advocating the policy of purging ORGANIZED RELIGION. Religion, according to me, should be confined to the four corners of your house only. The next post will be evident of the problems that symbols of Organized religion can lead to the fragmentation of the Human race. Let us keep something so Complex to ourselves, for we have seen the destruction that this complexity will cause to the very existence to Human Beings.
