Several things on my mind

When my mind is muddled, I can’t think of the facts that surround me. It is at this time that I chose to write a poem. Today is one such day, and I just want to outline of the blankness and complications that is happening inside my head.

Several things are on my mind,
but I can't make sense of them.
The mind seems muddled and bored,
but days like this are ever so common
How should I make it different?

Several things are on my mind.
I dream of going out, and having fun,
but all my friends are busy and occupied,
I look out for other opportunities,
but till then I have to wait.

The Weather is Hot, and I am at home.
Nobody wants to go anywhere in the heat,
but the mind insists that we go,
Having fun and frolic instead of laziness,
but it becomes so difficult.

My mind wanders around, for it
Thirsts of doing something new.
I watch and hear nothing but the same old things,
so my mind tends to stagnate.
If I am bored, I cannot help myself.

I am doing nothing new,
so I am stagnating away.
Several things are on my mind,
but my mind doesn’t want to do anything,
it just wants to idle away.

Ideas frolic and dance around my mind,
but I cannot put them rightly.
The mind muddles up your thinking,
your heart doesn’t beat to do anything,
and then you realize that life is nothing.

I have a mind that has ideas and facts,
but I do not have the heart to do anything.
Why must individuals be caught up in this?
Cannot we on our own do something?
Perhaps, this is the other side of human life.

Life can be cheerful, pleasant, innovative, happy,
If we put our mind and soul in it.
Take away mind and soul, and life is nothing.
Several things are on my mind,
but my soul is quiet inactive.
