The Commandments in the UK

No, this is not Moses being replayed again. These are a certain set of rules that i am going to prescribe for myself during my conduct in the UK. These rules involve some of my own, some of my friends as well as some of my dear ones as well.

1) I, Siddharth Vishwanathan, shall not indulge in anything that shall ruin the name and dignity of my family. I will not get into activities that shall ruin my reputation as well my families, and if possible of the whole community.

2) I, Siddharth Vishwanathan, shall work hard to get ahead in the future. My Parents have put in their hard earned money to get me where i want to be. It is upto me to ensure that their money and their wishes shall not go down the drain. Every cent that my family put in shall be utilized to goodness and not indulge in unnecessary materials.

3) I, Siddharth Vishwanathan, shall not think of ways by which my country will come in a bad light. Both the country of my birth as well as the country of my stay shall be treated with greatness and also Patriotically. Full attempt shall be made in trying to become part of a model citizen.

4) I, Siddharth Vishwanathan, shall shed all Inhibitions and childishness. Although, very difficult to make this change overnight, i shall put my heart and soul into becoming serious at what i do and also stay ahead of the rest. I shall uphold dignity with people whom i interact, and show no behaviour which shall embarass them in front of others.

5) I, Siddharth Vishwanathan, shall read, read and get myself updated everyday in the UK. I shall pursue to stay ahead among everybody with reagrds to information and events. I shall also think and penetrate deeply into the thoughts and writings of other Journalists.

6) I, Siddharth Vishwanathan, shall treat this trip to the UK like a new beginning, and be serious of the work that i have come to do. This trip is the stepping stone where in I start to earn and ease the burdens of my family. This trip will determine wether i am an Adult or a failure.

7) I, Siddharth Vishwanathan, shall manage my finances to the threadbare. Never shall I indulge in overspending and being in debt. I shall make the fullest of efforts to save money, because no strain shall be put on my parents.

These are the 7 rules that i have prescribed for myself. I will add patience and balanced attitude as furthur extensions to the rules. Also, the factor of treating all individuals as equal is also paramount on the list. The crucial thing will be to execute these rules of theory into practice, and show that I am a MAN
